Dear Diary,
The people around me keep me very entertained. It's finals week here, and everybody is overly stressed, the tension rising with every passing second. They are acting as if failing one test is the end of the world and their life is over. I try to convince them that life does indeed go on, sometimes for longer than you intended.
I'm writing to you from the kitchen as I cook spaghetti for the girls in the dorm. I love the look of boiling water and the crackling sound of the crimson sauce heating up, reminds me of better days.
We've had visitors who have come to look at the college, it's no surprise that their accents are thick, they are supposedly from Russia. I met one of them, blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin - everything you would expect from a Russian, except one extra feature - but you wouldn't understand that one, so I'll leave it alone for now.
Earlier today, I ran into Jessica
"Hey, did you hear?" She told me, as she crossed my path, that saying was never a good one, you knew that no matter what it was going to be some kind of gossip that she wanted to spread along to everyone else.
"Hear what?" I asked, I hear a lot of things in a day, I may have already heard what she had to say.
"Elizabeth, Jacob, and Tristan all dropped out today, just dropped all of their classes and left, no one has heard from them since."
"Really? That's strange.. I wonder why." I said, knowing exactly why they 'dropped out', it wasn't by their own free will.
"Yeah, I hope they are okay. Well, that's all I really had to say, just wanted to let you know!" she said heading on her way to her next class.
Our guests should have known better than to show up on a Friday, tsk tsk, you'd think they would learn after hundreds of years and folktales - Friday is my party day! Bonfires tonight.. no wood necessary - bring your marshmallows.
